This Friday the Villains Take Over

Hey!  Come join us for Fun Friday this week and read posts by our villains.  That's right.  The bad guys are going to take over.  What will they have to say?  No clue.  You will have to stop by to find out.

Who is going to post for me this Friday?  Will it be Jersey Clifford from the Rule Series?  One reviewer described him as gentleman who will quote poetry as he is ripping your face off.  Or will it be Maxx from Order of the Spirit Realm?  This power hungry shifter probably has a lot to say.  What about Morgan from Crushed?  As a witch's familiar, she is a rare creature, as clever as she is dangerous.

Check in on Friday to find out.
Then check with the other YA Storyteller Society members to read what their villains have to say.

Bwah-ha-ha!!!

Books for Halloween

Soon it will be October.  Sit down with a good book about vampires, witches, or wraiths.

Vampires Rule

They don't call him Jackpot for nothing.

Jack has always beat the odds... until now. When a werewolf tried to kill him, vampires saved him. When he got tired of life as a vampire, another attack gave him back his mortality. Now Jack just wants to live a normal life, but what's normal about having a hunter for a girlfriend, a brother who wants to stake him to be on the safe side, and a werewolf building an army to rule the world?

Don't forget Werewolves Rule is available and Shifters Rule will be released the week of Halloween.

Crushed:

The Noah sisters rule Titan High with their beauty, brains, and magical powers.

Each year they play a secret game: Crushed. The girls pick their targets carefully and blow enchanted dust into the boy’s faces, charming them, but this year Kristen makes a grave mistake. She chooses the wrong boy and almost dies that same day. Coincidence? Maybe.

But something isn’t quite right about Zach Bevian. He doesn’t behave like a boy who’s been Crushed. He goes from hot to cold, from looking at her with contempt to asking her out on a date. She doesn’t know what to think. Does he hate her or is he truly falling for her? Is he trying to kill her, or is he trying to save her?
Witch Hunt:

A magical game of Hide n Seek begins.
Find the missing player and win.
The game resets, everyone forgets, and they start to play again.

Starr Hughes hasn’t believed in magic since her mother died. As a reporter for the school paper she’s only interested in cold, hard facts. When she hears rumors that the mysterious It-Squad members are about to play a secret game, she is determined to learn all about it, especially since she’s been in love with one of the members half her life. Hiding under the headmaster’s desk, planting bugs, and breaking into a fellow student’s locker are all on her to-do list.

Starr is about to discover that witches not only exist, but they need her help. Someone is using the game to steal their memories, their powers, and maybe even their lives.

All of these titles are available at Amazon, B&N, and Smashwords

Review for Witch Hunt

This is one of the first reviews for Witch Hunt.  It was on Goodreads so I copied it.  This is by A Diary of a Book Addict, the blog.

"Witch Hunt was one of those books where I could not put it down because every turn of the page captured me and I needed more. Then I had to put it down because of school. If your in school you know how hard it is to do homework and papers and read all at the same time. So I was glad when I was able to pick it back up and finish it.

Starr Hughes is the school reporter and she loves to tell the news, especially the news that no one wants people to know. Then Starr stumbles upon a rumor that a new group called the IT-Squad is going to be doing something really big and she wants in so she can report on it and spy on her crush Dylan Winchester. She has a HUGE crush on Dylan and anything that gets her close to him she will do.

Then Starr realizes that something is wrong with this game. Someone is trying to steal peoples memories and powers. At first Starr didn't believe in witches but in the end she does and she has to figure out who is hurting her fellow classmates. As she unravels the secret game and the person responsible for hurting her classmates she is surprised by who it is. Never in her wildest dreams did she think she would be able to help her classmates. What will happen to Starr as she uncovers this mess? Will she get Dylan in the end? What will happen to her BFF?

Come along on a magical ride and read Witch Hunt. It is a fast and easy read. You can read it at the beach in the grocery store shopping or on the ferry. Pick this book and and have fun in the sun!"

Books

I just wanted to take a moment to let people know what books I have available at this time.  They would make a great Christmas gift for anyone who likes to read.

Vampires Rule:  A seventeen-year-old vampire turns mortal but still has to fight werewolves.  You can read a sample chapter here on the blog.  Just press the button for the Vampires Rule page above.  This book can be found at Smashwords, Amazon, B&N, etc.  It is available as an ebook and in print.

Werewolves Rule:  This is the book after Vampires Rule.  You can also find it at the same places.  I don't have a sample chapter here, but you can read a sample before purchasing at Smashwords or Amazon.

Crushed:  This is the first of the Witch-Game books.  Kristen and her sisters are playing a dangerous game at school using their powers.  They Crush the boys and make them do whatever comes to mind.  Unfortunately this year Kristen has picked on the wrong boy.  You can read a sample of this book on the Crushed Sample Chapter page above.  It can also be found at Smashwords, Amazon, B&N, etc.

Coming Soon:  1.  Witch Hunt (the second book in the Witch-Game series).  You do not have to read Crushed to enjoy this one.  It has different characters and a different game.
                        2. Pandora's Box: This is a romantic suspense book.  I used to write for Harlequin. In this book a woman named Madison wants to clear her father's name after he tries to kill the president. She and the president's son, a Navy SEAL, work together to uncover a dark secret, and they try not to fall for each other, but it's hard when they have to work so closely together.
                         3.  Mystery of Moore House:  This book might be published under a different name.  It was originally called Borrowed Identity and published by Harlequin.  I am in the process of getting my rights back so I can put it out as an ebook.
                         4.  Married to a Stranger:  Also published by Harlequin, this book was called Would-Be Wife, a title I always hated.
                         5.  Shifters Rule:  The third book in the Rule series.  Hopefully I can get it out there by next summer.  It was supposed to be released soon, but my computer crashed and I've been having a lot of problems getting to it.

Books in the Future:  Here are some that I would like to write in the next year or two.
                        1.  Raven's Claw:  The third book in the Witch-Game series.
                        2.  Bait:  The first in my hunter series.

Anyway, some of these books are written and some are in the dreaming stage still.  I hope you will pick up a copy of at least one of them and give it a try.  My greatest wish is simply to have people read and enjoy my books.  Thank you.  Happy Reading!
