This week's question: WHAT are your favorite back list books going back five to ten years?

My answer:

1. The Outsiders: This book is a classic and it was the first YA book I fell in love with.  I still have a copy, and I've probably read it more times than any other book in my collection.

2.  City of Bones: This is definitely going to become a classic as far as I'm concerned.  I've read it a few times and plan to read it again someday.  Jace is such a smartass, but he has a vulnerable side that keeps you from hating him, and Clary is spunky.

3.  Harry Potter:  This book is one of my all-time favorites.  The world-building is incredible.  No one can outdo Rowling on that front, and how she keeps all those characters straight, I'll never know.

4.  Twilight:  I know there are a lot of haters out there, but this book got a lot of people reading and writing.  How can that be bad?

I haven't read The Outsiders but I have heard good things about it. I enjoyed Cassandra Clare's works and of course, Harry Potter. Great picks for this week!

I just recently read City of Bones for the first time. I really liked it. I could see it grabbing a spot on a "classic" list some day. :) Of course, Harry is a given. He's so beloved.

I have yet to read the Outsiders. I hope I get a chance to soon seeing as how I bought the movie and haven't watched that yet either. New GFC Follower!

Read HP and Twilight and did enjoy them all. Both are not my usual genres, but read them after they became 'famous' - yes I know! And surprised myself by liking them, in fact have since read a few vampire themed books which I would have never considered before. New follower here :)
