The BEST and WORST Series Finales... part one
I hate it when they ruin a television series that I love by doing a sucky finale. Shows like How I Met Your Mother screwed up the ending so badly that I can't watch it anymore. They blew it. I'm sure I'm not the only person who decided not to buy the DVDs, all 9 (was it nine) seasons. Up until the ending I loved that show, but they ruined it for me.
The finale can make or break a series. It can get you excited and make you want to own the entire collection. Or it can send you in the opposite direction and turn you off the show.
Here are my favorites, my list of best and worst. (part 1)
1. How I Met Your Mother: WORST
I'll start with this one since I already mentioned it. I'm still angry about it. For years I followed Ted on his journey to find 'the one.' Every time he met a new woman I wondered if she would turn out to be the girl with the yellow umbrella, the one he eventually marries. By the time we reached the end of the series I was more than ready to meet her.
The last season was terrible pretty much from start to finish. Guess the writers ran out of ideas. They used the entire season for Barney and Robin's wedding. THE WHOLE SEASON!
But what really sucked was when I realized they had killed off this wonderful, funny, perfect girl that Ted had waited for. It turns out that while he is telling his children about how he met their mother, the woman was already dead. Then his kids tell him they think he is in love with Aunt Robin. Are you kidding me?
He and Robin sucked as a couple. They were on-again, off-again. I wanted to see Ted with the love of his life. I wanted him to have a happy ending. Because of this stupid finale (and really the whole final season) I can't stand the show now. I will NOT be buying the DVDs like I'd originally planned.
2. Lost: BEST/WORST (I'm torn)
I loved this series with all of its flashbacks and flash-forwards. It's the only show I've seen that had to have specials constantly to explain what was happening. After I watched an episode I would immediately call a friend who also watched it and say, "What the hell???" We would speculate on what was going on. It was actually fun, and the show kept me on the edge of my seat.
I felt terrible for John Locke, but it was great when he turned out to be the smoke monster. That made me laugh. Most of all I enjoyed watching the characters develop. This show had the cool ability to encourage you to jump to conclusions and make snap judgments about characters before showing you flashbacks so you could discover who they really were. Makes you think. I know that I will try not to judge people so quickly anymore.
The end really threw me. I didn't get upset over any of the characters dying because I didn't believe they were actually dead. I kept thinking they were in a different realm and after they died on the island they went back to the real world. Then you find out they did actually all die. The only reason I didn't totally hate this and put it on the worst list is because the characters get to reunite after death.
3. Fringe: WORST
If you haven't seen it, this is an X-Files kind of series. FBI Agent Olivia Dunham, a mad scientist, and a former conman join together to catch criminals and uncover paranormal events that are being caused by evil people.
I enjoyed this series; although it can be a little gruesome. Season 4 ends on such a happy note. I wish they had stopped there. Now they didn't spoil the show for me like How I Met Your Mother did. I did buy the DVDs, seasons 1 through 4.
Season 5 was just so stupid. I couldn't stand it, and I didn't like the ending. The scientist does something that causes Olivia and Peter to return to a point decades earlier. They forget season 5 ever happened. Lucky them. Wish I could do the same.
4. Grimm: BEST
I was surprised this paranormal show lasted as long as it did because it was on a regular network. For some reason people will watch supernatural shows on AMC or Showtime or CW, but they don't want to see it on ABC, NBC, or CBS. Weird. Fox channel seems to be able to get away with some paranormal stuff. They did have the X-Files.
Anyway, this show wraps up so beautifully. Maybe a little too good for some. It has a happy ending for almost everyone... except the bad guys. This show could be very strange and hokey, but it was fun to watch. There were a lot of funny moments. I also enjoyed the odd romance between a Grimm and a Hexenbeast.
So this one gets the thumbs-up from me.

Cat Pics that Make You Say "Awww."
Every time I see a cute picture of a cat or a puppy or a baby (especially if it comes with a funny line), I have to copy it. My computer is filled with these adorable pics.
Here are my faves:
I don't know why, but lately I've had an obsession with white cats. I guess it started when I got one. I love that fluffy white fur.
Here are my faves:
Put your paws in the air.
That is just too adorable.
I love the look of sweet bliss on the kitten's face.
This is the image that started my collection. I want this kitten. It is so darn cute.
This one is funny to me because I can't keep my cat out of boxes.
I didn't think this one was that funny, but the cat is using the computer. That makes it worth saving.
Next time maybe I'll do funny and adorable puppy pics.

For the First Time Ever in the History of the World
For the first time ever (as far as I know) YOU, the reader get to decide who the hero winds up with in the end. We have two interesting girls in Dani and Scarlet. They both bring something different to the table.
Trick has been crushing on Dani since she moved in next door. She is his fantasy girl--but he knows girls like Dani don't wind up with boys like him. He's in trouble more often than not, rides his motorcycle way to fast, and he kills vampires in his spare time.
Scarlet has been his best friend for years. He can count on her to always be there for him, but he doesn't want to be romantically involved with her. He's never even thought of her in that way... well, until he finds out she's in love with him.
How can you take part in this unique opportunity?

Excerpt:
The last person he should be kissing was about to be
in his arms. They might have already gone too far. If he couldn’t pull back and
convince himself that he felt nothing for her, he’d have to pick someone else
to pin his psychological well-being on.
Her hand slid up his chest and curved around his neck.
She applied slight pressure to bring his face down a few inches to hers.
Arguments against kissing her evaporated. All he could think about was what her
mouth would feel like beneath his.
He lowered his face.
But he made a final decision to let her control the
kiss.
His heartbeat quickened as his mind went on a crazy
trip. What sort of kiss did she want to give him? How long would it last? Would
she regret it afterward?
Her closed mouth pressed against his for several
seconds, long enough for him to compare the kiss to ones already received.
Unlike the other girls he’d locked lips with, she took
it slow. She didn’t seem to be in a hurry to reach some unknown destination
that would leave him in the dust. Her lips, full and soft, opened after a
moment, startling him.
The tip of her tongue briefly touched his in a
shocking moment that left him rattled.
Then it was over.
Although he’d been kissed many times, possibly
hundreds, this was the one he’d remember into his old age. It was twisted,
forbidden yet needful, hard yet soft, sweet yet passionate.
She took a step back and stared into his eyes as if
daring him to comment. A strange glint appeared in hers, shards of simmering
anger.
Her hand slid down his bare chest to the talisman. She
wrapped the chain around her fingers as her narrowed gaze dared him to stop
her. A hard tug caught him off guard. The chain broke against the back of his
neck. He’d worn it day and night since he’d been abandoned by his father, never
taking it off.
And now it was gone, just like that, and so was she.
She went inside and closed the sliding terrace door.
For a moment, they gazed at each other through the glass. She probably thought
he was staring at her with a stunned expression like a deer caught in
headlights. She probably thought he was upset over her taking his necklace… but
he had other problems.
The second the chain had
snapped, he remembered something better off forgotten.

10 Funniest Memes
These are 10 of my funniest memes from Facebook. Let's see if they get you rolling on the floor with laughter... or at least smiling.
Sheldon is hilarious. I can't get enough memes with him sitting in different weird places with "My spot" written beneath.
This one made me laugh cause it's silly. If someone wants to pay my bills, let them.
This one is funny because it's true.
I did! I loved vampires before it was cool. Hey, have you read my Vampires Rule books yet or 4-ever Hunted?
These are in no particular order by the way. I love watching The Walking Dead, and Daryl is my favorite character, so this is a good meme.
I hate smurfs, so this makes me laugh.
Those little kittens are adorable. So, no, I don't really think this one is that funny. But it makes me go, "Aw."

Love watching Loki, and this one is also true.
If you were counting, this is number 11 just because. lol
